New Jersey Jewish Day Schools – More Affordable Than You Think

Day Schools

Are you school shopping? Ever considered Jewish day school? Even if the thought has never crossed your mind, you’re going to want to keep reading.

What is Jewish day school exactly?
Jewish day school provides students with cutting-edge liberal arts and STEM education, a background in Jewish culture, traditions, and texts, and Hebrew language instruction.

Aren’t Jewish day schools for religious people?
Jewish day schools educate students from all walks of Jewish life. You don’t need any particular Jewish background or level of observance to attend Jewish day school.

Isn’t it expensive? I couldn’t possibly afford private school tuition.
This is the most exciting part. The Greater MetroWest Jewish community wants to make Jewish day school affordable for everyone who wants to attend. The Greater MetroWest Jewish Day School Initiative has made it possible for area day schools to cap tuition at a maximum of 18% of income for eligible middle-income families and offer generous financial aid packages.

Thinking of moving to the suburbs? Families moving to the Greater MetroWest area before September 2016 may be eligible for an additional $1,800 tuition discount. Not too shabby, huh? To learn more about the criteria to qualify and who to contact, click here.
