Jennifer Gilmore is the author of the just published, The Mothers, and two novels, Golden Country, a 2006 New York Times Notable Book, and a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize and the National Jewish Book Award, and Something Red, aNew York Times Notable Book of 2010. Her work has appeared in magazines and journals including Allure, Bomb, BookForum, the Los Angeles Times, Nerve, the New York Times, the New York Times Book Review, Salon, Tin House, Vogue and the Washington Post. Currently she teaches at Barnard College and Princeton University and lives in Brooklyn with her husband and son.
