We’ve got an exciting contest for all you New York-based Kvellers out there. Comedian Judy Gold, who was the star of the critically-acclaimed show “25 Questions for a Jewish Mother,” has a new comedic show that reveals everything that’s truly funny about her life through the lens of the classic sitcoms of our youth. “The Judy Show: My Life as a Sitcom” is now playing at DR2 Theatre in Manhattan, and we’ve got two tickets to give away to one lucky winner.
To enter to win, we’re looking for the best 6-word stories about Jewish mothers. (If you’re not sure what a 6-word story is, it’s literally just a story written in 6 words. For example: Write something good, win free stuff.) It could be about what makes you a Jewish mother, or what your Jewish mother was like, or anything, really, as long as it’s 6 words. Leave your story in the comment section below by next Wednesday, August 10th and we’ll choose our favorite.
So, if you’re in New York (or plan to be there by the end of August) and you desperately need a date night with some comedic relief, enter today!
