My grandparents give a small amount of money to the girls each year. We have been putting it in a UGTM (uniform gift to minors) account, which, if I am not mistaken, the girls automatically get when they are 18. What do you recommend in terms of this sort of thing? “I was raised in a very old-fashioned home. My dad was in charge of the money, and he gave my mom a weekly amount of cash. As an adult, I’m struggling because my husband is great with money and finances but I’m also an earner and I want to be part of my financial life and future. It’s so easy for me to tune out and let him take over…
