The Jewish Childcare Association-Ametz program sponsors: Talking to Adults About Talking To Kids About Adoption (for adoptive families and families-to-be)

What do kids know about adoption? What do they think they know? Practical advice on how to answer tough questions, including when to start using the “A” word and what to do with birth information you have/don’t have. Then keep the conversation going by learning how to introduce more information about adoption and your child’s background, keeping lines of communication open and helping them answer questions from others.

Presenter: Dina Rosenfeld, DSW is the Community Educator for the Ametz Adoption Program of the Jewish Child Care Association, who has worked in the field of adoption for over 25 years.
