Once a month on Fridays we have Celebration Shabbat in which we run a kid's service across the hall from the grownup service. This kid's service includes a play put on by other children (This month our 1st graders in the Alef class perform "The Little Red Hen and the Shavuot Blintzes" that they helped to write.) We also have singing, prayers and stories led by Meryl and Rabbi Val. Meanwhile the adults are in the chapel. We follow this service with an oneg shabbat with birthday blessings for May and June.
