Bullying has become an epidemic that no parent can ignore. Would you know what to do if your child was being targeted? And what if you got a call telling you that your child is being a bully? Jewish Community Services (JCS) is sponsoring a discussion for parents called “A Culture of Mean” on November 21, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Jewish Community Services office in Owings Mills, 3506 Gwynnbrook Avenue (in the JCC). Susan Kurlander, M.Ed., will facilitate.
The JCS Parent Discussion Series addresses various challenges of parenthood from infancy to young adulthood. Free and open to the public, the series is co-sponsored by the Jewish Community Center. Pre-registration is required for each discussion. For more information and registration, visit www.jcsbaltimore.org/parenting-series or call 410-843-7568.
Babysitting, provided by the JCC, is available on site for a small fee and with advance registration. Requests for ADA accommodations can be accepted up to 3 weeks before the program, and will be filled to the extent possible.
