Al Jolson, Sophie Tucker, Jack Benny, Shelley Winters, and Eddie Cantor are just a few of the luminaries who once called the Actors' Temple, 347 West 47th Street, a spiritual home.

Today, the historic Actors' Temple is the only synagogue remaining in the Broadway area known as Hell's Kitchen. The small dynamic congregation is led by Rabbi Jill Hausman. As our neighborhood experiences rapid change, the historic Actors' Temple innovates to survive.
