Mitzvah Mommy & Me is a program through UJA-Federation’s Families Division designed to teach young children (ages 1 - 3) about the importance of doing Mitzvot. The program is held at one of our beneficiary agencies where the children join residents for circle time to sing Shabbat songs, do a craft, read a book, and have a snack. This program benefits everyone who attends; the children have a great time, the mothers feel good about the mitzvah, and the residents benefit the most by watching and interacting with the children.
