Literary Power Couple Jonathan Safran Foer & Nicole Krauss Split Up

The Kid-Dish: All the Jewish celebrity parent gossip you (n)ever wanted to know.

-It’s a sad day for Jewish lit fans everywhere. Literary power couple Jonathan Safran Foer and Nicole Krauss legally separated–which means they broke up about a year ago and no one knew about it! I mean, there were whisperings about their $14.5 million Park Slope home going on the market (it didn’t sell), but no one had an inkling that this too-talented-for-words pair was even on the rocks. (Page Six)

-In happier news, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are (allegedly) consciously recoupling. Don’t know what else there is to say except, wasn’t it just yesterday that they were consciously uncoupling? Is there actually a way to unconsciously uncouple? (People)

-Speaking of conscious couples, Jason Biggs and Jenny Mollen are very much together and spilled everything parenthood and their new baby Sid in People this week. The decidedly wanna-be Jewish actor said that becoming a dad was so emotional that he cried in the delivery room. (People)

-First Jewish “Bachelorette” ever Andi Dorfman went to France with her 11 remaining men in the latest episode of this season, and dealt with racism, mimes, and frog legs. Follow Kveller contributer Tova Ross‘ recaps of the show over at Jewcy. (Jewcy)
