Mom of Quadruplets Perfectly Sums Up the Struggles of Motherhood in 34 Seconds

Parents never really get a break, not even when you want to eat a snack or go to the bathroom or anything. Naps don’t really exist for you–unless you count the moment you “shut your eyes” during the millionth time you watched “Frozen.”

This is why Ashley Gardner, a mother of quadruplets, made a hilarious video about trying to get a moment of peace alone. She posted the video to YouTube and Facebook on Tuesday, which went viral soon after–and I can totally see why–she hides in her pantry in order to eat a snack alone. In the video, she says:

“Dad’s out shoveling the driveway and mom desperately needed a treat to get through the rest of the night. So I’m hiding in the pantry eating a treat. Is that wrong?”

After she says that, you can hear her kids yelling on the other side of the door, and she shifts the camera to show them peeking through the bottom of the door:

“They don’t ever go away. They want everything you have.”
