There must be something in the water in Hollywood these days–many celebs seem to be hunkering down with Jewish partners (Jenna Jameson and Lior Bitton, Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky, Lauren Bush and David Lauren, to name a few).
Infamous hotel heiress Nicky Hilton wedded banking-heir James Rothschild last week at Kensington Palace in London, according to People Magazine. Of course, her notorious sister Paris served as bridesmaid.
Keeping up with decades-old appearances, Hilton was fashionably decked out in a crystal encrusted Valentino gown, which was also surprisingly modest with long lace sleeves–she could almost be mistaken as an Orthodox bride.

So, did the lavish event include Jewish traditions? While the details of the ceremony itself are unknown, the reception was definitely not in line with kashrut standards with crab and lobster served as the main course.
Overjoyed about Nicky’s nuptials, Paris went to Instagram to capture the event and shared some sweet words about the couple, saying: “Once in awhile, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale.” Paris also stated that Nicky and James make the “perfect couple.”
