Sukkot is Here… So See You Monday!

Sukkot, aka The Festival of Booths, starts tonight at sundown. We’ll be closed for the rest of the week to enjoy some time beneath the sukkah, but if you’re looking for last minute ways to celebrate the holiday, we’re here to help:

If you’ve built your own sukkah and need some more decorations, you can make some paper chains with any old magazines lying around. If you don’t have access to a sukkah but would like to celebrate anyway, check out these creative alternatives.

If you’re hungry, try some of our autumnal treats like stuffed pumpkin, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, and pumpkin challah (notice a theme?).

Shalom Sesame has shared some Sukkot videos with us, like “Visiting an Etrog Farm” and “Grover Welcomes Guests,” so be sure to check those out!

And lastly, if you’ve done your homework, you may just be able to ace our Sukkot quiz.

We hope everyone has a lovely Sukkot, and we’ll be back on Monday with just enough time to prepare you for Simchat Torah. Chag Sameach!
