The Kid-Dish: Rachel Dratch Procreates with Boyfriend, Barry Manilow with Nobody

All the Jewish celebrity parent gossip you (n)ever wanted to know

– The jury’s still out on whether Slash from Guns N’ Roses is Jewish, but with a real name of Saul Hudson, that’s reason enough for me to feature him here. His sons London, 8, and Cash, 6, were seen trick-or-treating in costumes that totally outshone their parents. (Celebrity Baby Scoop)

– Also hitting the candy-filled streets were actress Sarah Michelle Gellar and her one-year old cutie Charlotte, dressed up as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. I guess a vampire slayer costume would have been too obvious? (Celebrity Baby Scoop)

Rachel Dratch, comedienne of SNL fame, gave birth to her son Eli Benjamin in August and then proceeded to completely freak the media out by choosing not to announce who the baby’s father is. Drama ensued, and the world nearly exploded from all the pent-up bewilderment, until Rachel finally gave People the exlusive 411 last Wednesday. And the father is… her boyfriend. A’doy. (People)

Madonna and clan have been in NYC all week, and you know what that means. Family trip to the Kabbalah Center, of course! Also in the same news article, Madonna plans to open a chain of gyms called Hard Candy Fitness. What a busy, mystical woman. (Celebrity Baby Scoop)

– And in our lifetime achievement award news, 67-year old Barry Manilow has come out and said it: he hates children. No, not really, but he did say he is glad he put his career over starting a family because he would have been a “rotten parent.” Personally, I would have let him forgo his leading role in Copacabana if he really wanted to carry on the Manilow name.
