This Boy’s ‘Let It Go’ Rendition Blew Idina Menzel Away

We all dream of being applauded by our idols. That dream came true recently for 11-year-old Luke Chacko. He sang “Let It Go,” the iconic song from Disney’s “Frozen” on Broadway alongside the song’s originator, Idina Menzel during her concert in Grand Prairie, Texas.

And Chacko completely blew the audience away.

Menzel was so impressed by his performance that she requested an encore: “Could you all just shut up for a minute and let him sing it again?” Menzel also tweeted:

Luke also told WFAA-TV that “Frozen” isn’t just for girls–and neither is music in general:

“I know boys don’t like ‘Let It Go’ because it’s a girl’s song, but songs are for everyone. It’s music, it’s art.”
