WATCH: Girl Receives 3-D Printed Prosthetic Arm & Her Reaction is Incredible

Isabella is probably the happiest little girl in the world right now. She recently received a gift: a prosthetic arm. What makes this unusual, however, is the fact that it’s 3-D printed.

Her new prosthetic was designed just for her by Team Unlimbited, a project under the volunteer-based, 3-D printed prosthetic collective, e-Nable. Besides the fact that 3-D printing is a cool, relatively new technology, it’s an ingenious way of getting better quality prosthetics to more people. Right now, traditional prosthetics cost about $10,ooo or more. An e-Nable limb like Isabell’s, however, ranges from $50 to $150, which is dramatically more affordable.

The video below captures Isabella at the moment she received her gift–and her reaction is almost too happy to take in all at once. But we can definitely say that whatever the limb cost, her complete and utter joy is priceless.
