Watch This Boy with Cerebral Palsy Stand Up on His Own for the First Time

Logan Wilson is a 9-year-old boy who loves sports, like many other kids his age. Since he was born and was diagnosed with spastic quad cerebral palsy, however, it’s he has never been able to stand up or walk without  the assistance of medical equipment. This is why it is so monumental that Logan was able to stand up on his own to cheer for his favorite teams.

Two days ago, Logan’s mom Rebecca saw something she never saw before. She saw Logan stand up–and luckily, she was able to record the moment on her phone–which she ended up posting on Facebook.

Wilson told Fox 13:

“Until yesterday I never really saw him try to stand. He just knew that is what we do to show respect to our country and everyone who fights so hard for us. He is truly just an amazing kid just doing what he loves.”

While it may seem like a small moment to some, moments like these are so inspiring and life changing for those involved–especially for Logan. It allows him to believe that anything is possible.
