Your Favorite ’90s TV Mom, ‘Roseanne,’ Is Coming Back

Don’t you miss “Roseanne?” I grew up watching the ‘90s hilarious family-friendly sitcom–and I have to say, my life just wouldn’t have been the same without it. Roseanne Barr, the women behind the TV show, was often ahead of her time. Barr was one of the first people in Hollywood to create a show about real life for working class people–and the fact that her show focused on a working class mom is not something to trivialize.

Apparently, the show may be revived–which is good news, according to Deadline. Even better, it seems most the original cast, like John Goodman, Sara Gilbert, and Roseanne Barr herself, are on board. This past March, Goodman and Gilbert made a reunion parody, so it sounds like it’s pretty official. I’d love to see what the Conners are up to.

Deadline also pointed out that in 2009, Roseanne wrote a brief summary on where the Connors were at in their lives, so perhaps it’ll pick up from there:

“Roseanne and Jackie opening the first medical marijuana dispensary in Lanford; Dan reappearing alive after faking his death; DJ being published; Mark dying in Iraq; David leaving Darlene for a woman half his age; Darlene coming out, meeting a woman and having a baby with her; Becky working at Walmart; Arnie befriending the governor of Illinois and remarrying Nancy; Bev selling a painting for $10,000; Jerry and the grandsons forming a boy band; and Bonnie being arrested for selling crack.”

Can’t wait to find out. I’m ready to walk down memory lane and get all nostalgic.
