Chicago Tot Shabbats with PJ Library

challah

Have you been looking for a way to introduce your little one to Shabbat? Is finding a synagogue that is the right fit for your family somewhere on your to-do list? Perhaps you are looking for something to do on Friday night or Saturday morning now that poolside picnics and playground time are out of season. Or maybe you are already a Shabbat expert and want to mix things up a bit?

Join PJ Library of Chicago*, a program of the JUF Young Families Department, for a monthly Shabbat experience held at a different Chicagoland synagogue every month. Kids ages 0 – 5 and their families will enjoy activities and snacks including music, arts & crafts, and PJ Library story time. Did we mention there will be snacks?

Check out one in your neighborhood, or if you are feeling adventurous, hop in the car and check out a couple of different ones. All are welcome—from Shabbat novices to Shabbat experts and everyone in between! Just be sure to RSVP and let them know you are planning to attend to make sure there are enough snacks for everyone!
