Rosh Hashanah Resolution: The Year of Happiness

To gear up for the High Holidays this year, we’re asking our writers and readers for their Rosh Hashanah Resolution. Here’s one from Kveller writer Jessica Glassberg.

This will be the year of happiness. The year of learning. The year of appreciation. Appreciating our loved ones, our good fortunes and ourselves. The year of using up memory cards because we’ve taken so many pictures of those and with those close to us. The year of reminding ourselves to put the camera, cell phone, and iPad down sometimes and be IN the moment. The year of accomplishments without feeling overwhelmed. The year we stop Googling EVERYTHING and driving ourselves NUTS! The year we learn to take a compliment. The year of losing the baby weight, but not jumping off any high edifices if we don’t. The year of stopping procrastination in its tracks. This will be the year of love.
