New Yorkers: the Rosenthal JCC in Westchester has some awesome events planned for this summer that we thought we’d send your way. From Shabbat playdates to water fun to bagels and yoga, if you’re in the area, be sure to check out these events for parents, babies, and toddlers. Friday, June 1, 9:30-11AM–Shabbat Shabooty Playdate

Make your own “stuffed challah”, sing Shabbat songs, and eat freshly baked challah. Babies and toddlers welcome for indoor and outdoor play on a terrific playground at the home of one of our Board members.

Takes place at Mahopac home. Address provided upon reservation. $5/family

Friday, June 15, 9:30-11AM–Noah’s Bark at Teatown

Learn about snakes and frogs and what Judaism has to say about “Care of Animals”.

Takes place at Teatown Reservation, Spring Valley Rd., Yorktown, $5/family

Sunday, June 24, 10-Noon–Workshop with Aleta Koman: Parenting as Partners

Two parenting styles, zero arguments. Learn how to reconcile different parenting styles and work as partners with your spouse. Parents only, babysitting available.

Sunday, July 8, 11-12:30PM–Jumpin’ Jeepers Playdate

Enjoy a morning of play with your child/ren and celebrate Israel.

Thursday, July 19, 10-11:30AM–Make a Splash at Camp Discovery

Join us for a morning of water play at Camp! What better way to cool off on a summer morning? Takes place at Camp Discovery, Route 129, Croton On Hudson, NY, FREE

Friday, August 10, 9:30-11AM—Namaste and Nosh

Enjoy a yoga class while your toddlers play, followed by a bagel brunch for all. Takes place at Yorktown Jewish Center, Crompond Road, Yorktown Heights, $10/family
