Here at Kveller and at our sister site Hey Alma, we’ve been talking a lot about season two of “Nobody Wants This.” (Have you checked out all our opinions on the Jewish TV Club Substack?)

We have kvetches and kvells about the sophomore season of the Netflix Hot Rabbi Show starring Adam Brody as said ridiculously good looking Rabbi Noah Roklov who falls for an “agnostic sex podcaster,” (absolutely love this Netflix description) Joanne (Kristen Bell).

Season two set us up for, well, a lot to happen in season three, even if the ending felt to some like a rerun of the season one finale. The good news is that a third season is indeed coming! Here’s everything we know about season three of Netflix’s “Nobody Wants This.”

Will there be a “Nobody Wants This” Season 3?

Yes! Netflix officially renewed the season on Tuesday, Nov. 4, a little under two weeks after the season two premiere.

“I couldn’t be more excited to head into a third season of this show,” creator Erin Foster told Netflix’s Tudum. “It is a privilege to be able to write about my favorite couple on a scale like this. As long as it doesn’t take too much time away from me watching reality TV at night, I’ll do it for as long as they want me to!”

When will “Nobody Wants This” Season 3 premiere?

We don’t yet know for sure, but both season one and season two premiered in the fall, with the first season premiering just before Rosh Hashanah and the second season a little after the Jewish High Holidays ended. Therefore, it’s likely that season three, too, will premiere in the fall of 2026. But Netflix and this show love to keep us on our toes, so we shall see. What is for sure? The show will be back sometime in 2026.

Who will be in the cast of “Nobody Wants This” Season 3?

It’s too early to know about any exciting new cast members, but we’re hoping for the return of Leighton Meester’s Abby Loves Smoothies. What we do know is that the entire main cast is returning and that they’re oh so stoked about it.

Shalom to you too, Adam Brody!

What will happen in “Nobody Wants This” Season 3?

Well, **spoiler alert** after Esther’s moving speech about Joanne feeling Jewish, it seems like she’s realized that she wants to convert, something that Noah deeply wants her to do.

“She’s yearning for something to give her structure, purpose, boundaries, values and traditions,” Foster shared with Netflix’s Tudum. “Judaism can give her all of those things.”

“We always knew we were heading towards her figuring out that she was Jewish and that she felt something,” season two co-showrunner Jenni Konner shared with The Hollywood Reporter. “There are these little steps along the way where she’s like, ‘I moved an inch. I’m starting to see it.’ But like Esther says, she’s waiting for this huge thing to happen that will do it, but it wound up being all those little things.”

So now what’s left to see is how and when Joanne will convert. Will she do it at Rabbi Neil’s (Seth Rogen) Temple Ahava with her mother? Will Noah move on from the temple he obviously doesn’t jive in and find another Jewish home for Joanne to convert? Will she return to Temple Chai for it and go to Big Noah (Alex Karpovsky)? That would certainly be dramatic. Or will Joanne have to find her own way to conversion, without any interference from her boyfriend? I can’t wait to see how the showrunners will tackle this!

OK, but what else is going to happen in “Nobody Wants This” Season 3?

We know where season two left off: with Jackie Tohn’s Esther searching for herself (here’s hoping she has a big, juicy character arc next season!), with Timothy Simons’ Sasha promising to give her space and wait for her as they separate (and hopefully come back together?) and with Justine Lupe’s Morgan, Joanne’s larger than life sister, single again after breaking up with Dr. Andy (good riddance, not to amazing actor Arian Moayed, but to this clearly very toxic relationship!).

Some are still asking the big question of will Sasha and Morgan get together, especially now that Esther and Sasha are on a break (are they on a break?), and it’s definitely a question the writers’ room tackled a lot both in season one and season two. Foster revealed to THR that they did write a romance for these two but then it felt off. This season again, there seemed to be a lot of chemistry, but will that chemistry stay platonic? We’ll have to wait and see.

Depending on when season three picks up, we will hopefully get a major Jewish holiday. Since we got a Purim episode last season, if the new season starts soon after as far as timeline, we’ll likely get a “Nobody Wants This” Passover seder. Jackie Tohn told us she definitely sees Esther putting that orange on a seder plate because feminism! Here’s hoping we get Tovah Feldshuh singing the OG metal song (at least according to Jack Black) “Chad Gadya.”

And of course, let’s not forget Noah’s personal journey. He’s obviously not happy with his new gig at the progressive, pop-culture-obsessed Temple Ahava. Will he stay or will he go? We’ll have to wait and find out.
