For many years now, I’ve visited the websites of popular stores in November and searched “Hanukkah,” both for Kveller purposes and my own personal interest. It wasn’t so long ago that the results included one (1) very simple menorah and every single piece of inventory that was blue, from the most pastel powder blue to the darkest of navy. That was especially true of perennial millennial favorite Anthropologie‚ who loved to insist that its signature scent in a blue diffuser was a Hanukkah item.
Things have changed. Target has a robust Hanukkah selection (though this year, we feel it leaves something to be desired.) Hanukkah pajamas are almost ubiquitous. Last year, Crate and Barrel sold a menorah based on a 1995 design by the late designer Lucia Eames that I’m still trying to get my hands on. Pottery Barn has a line of surprisingly thoughtful design-forward Hanukkah items in collaboration with Jewish-founded brand Love Shack Fancy. And, yes, Anthropologie has also stepped up their Hanukkah game, with items from their own line as well as smaller Jewish brands like Susan Alexandra. Here, I’ve rounded up 15 of the best Hanukkah items currently Anthropologie — and none of them are an obligatory blue item.
The greenery in this design reminds me of all the best parts of cozy winter decor.
I can think of several candy fiends in my life who would flip over this.
A beautiful Hanukkah-adjacent piece for your holiday table.
As far as I'm concerned, the quirkier the better when it comes to Hanukkah decor.
It just makes sense to put out this beautiful menorah and argue with your family about whether or not it's kosher.
I didn't know I needed dreidel salt and pepper shakers until right now.
Martinis in Hanukkah decor is a trend I can get behind.
In the emerging market of Hanukkah door mats, this one might be my favorite.
This one is so pretty it's worth all the wax you'll be picking out of those flowers at the end of the holiday.
