Is this a safe space to share that I, a middle aged mom of a tween, still shop at American Eagle and its sister store Aerie? This store has had its hooks in me since I was in high school, begging my mom to buy me a henley with a tiny eagle embroidered on the chest. Today, my favorite shorts are from Aerie, I only recently graduated to a non-Aerie swimsuit, and my entire underwear drawer is from the brand.
Perhaps that’s how I came across what I think might be my favorite Hanukkah pajamas out there this season, and the thing I think we were all missing from our Hanukkah celebrations: dreidel printed underwear.
This isn’t the first year Aerie has carried Hanukkah underwear, and unfortunately last year’s prints were cuter in my opinion. But the fact that there are Hanukkah prints on mall underwear in the first place? A win for those of us who are Team Why Can’t I Find More Hanukkah Stuff, and a loss for those of us who are Team Stop Turning Hanukkah Into Christmas.
