Looks like 2016 is already a good year for Jewish comedian Amy Schumer. She’s no longer on #TeamSingle, as she’s officially dating furniture maker Ben Hanisch.
While it’s hard to say how long they’ve been dating, it looks like things are getting pretty serious, considering he’s already met the family. And, you know, become Instagram-and-Twitter official. Schumer shared a photo on Twitter of her family + new beau hanging out at the White House (no big deal):

But it’s not just Amy writing the romantic posts. Hanisch has one of his own, on Instagram, captioning the photo in the sweetest way possible:
“Sometimes in life you get extremely lucky, and the smartest, funniest, most beautiful woman comes along when you least expect it. Here’s to what adventures 2016 brings!”

Considering he’s with one of the funniest women in Hollywood, he must have a great sense of humor. And, we’re kind of kvelling, because he might also be Jewish (purely going off the name here, people). Of course, it’s totally fine if he’s not, but who doesn’t like a nice, funny, crafty Jewish mensch?
