Natalie Portman recently received her third Oscar nomination for her leading role in “Jackie,” which is why she was recently photographed for Vanity Fair’s Hollywood Issue. Her photo has garnered a lot of attention, as she poses with her bare baby belly and only a sheet.
The 35-year-old pays homage to Demi Moore‘s iconic August 1991 cover of the magazine (who was also pregnant at the time). Both photos were taken by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.

Portman is currently expecting her second child with her husband and French choreographer Benjamin Millepied. Together, the couple has a 5-year-old son, Aleph. Vanity Fair fashion and style director, Jessica Diehl, stated that they wanted to capture Natalie absolutely glowing:
“It was about capturing Natalie at her most radiant.”
Portman is joined by fellow stars Lupita Nyong’o, Amy Adams, Elle Fanning, Dakota Fanning, Dakota Johnson, Greta Gerwig, Aja Naomi King, and Janelle Monáe.
