Pink always keeps it real — and that’s what we love the most about her.
The down-to-earth pop star was up for her 19th Grammy nomination on Sunday. She didn’t win. But instead of moaning about it, she posted about how grateful she was for the opportunity, and for being able to share it with her family. (And she seemed completely genuine!)
Like so many moms celebrating all sorts of special occasions, Pink naturally wanted to capture the moment with a photo — her whole clan, dressed to the nines, together at the Grammys.
Here’s the first take, in which the singer and her family are all smiles — except for baby Jameson, that is:
We can’t get over his adorably, squishy cry-face — and we’re in love with how Pink posted this warts-and-all photo to Instagram.
There is, of course, a picture-perfect post-tears version (with Pink’s mom looking seriously chic, too):
Even cuter? Pink’s daughter, Willow, met her idol, Rihanna — illustrating that even celebrities’ kids get star struck:
Pink summed it all up in this Instagram post, showing us just how real — and not jaded — she is:
We fucking did that! Willow met her idol tonight @badgalriri … her fav performances were Kendrick, me, and Gaga. My mom had fun and looked so fancy I can’t even stand it. My husband looked amazing and made me a flask of old fashioned. I wore a custom Armani feather dress cause I’m FUN. I sang my fucking heart out for the cause, a song i wrote for the suffragette movement, barefoot in a white T-shirt and jeans… I lost my 19th Grammy nomination, I consoled another talented loser, whom I love, and I kept my feet on the ground (cause spectators like to dare me to.) y’all I’m so proud of myself I’m gonna buy myself a drink tonight. Perseverance. Perspective, gratitude
This Jewish mama’s wisdom is something we all should remind ourselves of everyday: “Perseverance. Perspective, gratitude.” No greater truth.
