Your heart strings are about to be pulled so much that you might feel like you have no heart left afterwards. At least, that’s how we felt when we watched (and rewatched) this video of a boy who realizes what it really means to be separated from his mom.
When a TV reporter asks if he’ll miss his mom on the first day of school, his face literally personifies that quintessential back-to-school anxiety within seconds. You may have seen this look on your own kid’s face this year, and it breaks our hearts to watch. While this video is not necessarily new (it’s a few months old), we still can’t get over it, because it’s a beautiful illustration of the deep love children have for their moms.
