Leaf Collage

You can teach your child colors while picking out leaves for this art project.

This art project combines nature and crafting–two fun things for kids! Take a walk to collect a variety of leaves for this simple project suitable for kids of all ages.

What you need:

Paper (any color)

White glue

Leaves (in different colors, shapes, and sizes)

1. Collect leaves.

2. Glue leaves onto paper.

3. Have fun!

This activity can be modified for slightly older children to make it more challenging. Have them take a leaf and put it underneath the paper, then rub a crayon back and forth over the paper to create a leaf rubbing. When combined with glued leaves, it’s a really cool affect that makes their art look quite impressive.
