We are always accepting submissions from new writers.
To submit, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with “Submission” somewhere in the subject line. Include a brief bio, contact information, and a complete original blog post you’d like us to consider, either attached as a Word doc or pasted into the body of the email.
We are looking for personal, narrative-driven essays about parenting and women’s issues written from a Jewish lens, though not every piece needs an explicit tie-in to Judaism. Suggested word count is 500-1000 words, though we are flexible for the right piece. We do not accept previously published work (this includes your personal blog). If you are sending the piece to multiple publications, please notify us immediately if it’s been accepted elsewhere. We do not accept anonymous or pseudonymous pieces.
The best way to get a sense of what we’re looking for is to read the website thoroughly. Every day. For even more insight on sending your writing to Kveller, be sure to check out this interview with our editor Molly Tolsky on the Beyond Your Blog podcast.
