Contest Announcement: Name Natalie Portman’s Baby!
While much of the population (namely, boys) turn in turmoil over the announcement that Natalie Portman is officially off the market and officially expecting a baby, we here at Kveller are very excited for the future Jewish mommy, who will no doubt rock the mom look just as good as the Star Wars look. And what better way to celebrate this excitement than by having a contest in Ms. Portman’s honor?
Since celebrity baby names are all the rage, we invite you, dear readers, to take a whack at naming the future child of Natalie Portman and her French fiancé, dancer/choreographer Benjamin Millipied. Will they go with an Israeli name or a French name? A human name or a kind of fruit? The possibilities are endless!
Send your best guesses to info@kveller.com by January 31st, 2011, and our favorites will win a special prize package from A Jewish Beginning and all the pride and glory that comes along with it. And when Natalie actually does have her baby and announces the name, if any contest entries got it right, you better believe a prize is coming your way, too.

I do wish she would have gotten married first. How do we teach our children the importance of marriage and family when celebrities are having children with out marrage
Agreed
I think Natalie Portman is a wonderful, beautiful, Jewish role model and it’s so exciting that she’ll be joining our Mommy Club. I wish her all the best throughout this journey.
Dammit. I’ve totally been called out on having only seen one Natalie Portman movie, haven’t I.
(Not counting the Star Wars prequels. But who counts them?)
Are you sure that’s a baby bump picture? It looks like the finale scene in “Garden State” to me…
Hey, if TMZ says it’s a baby bump, it’s a baby bump.
