News Roundup: The Many Opinions on ‘Lean In’

– Anne-Marie “Women Can’t Have it All” Slaughter reviews Sheryl Sandberg’s new book Lean In for the New York Times. She heaps a nice amount of praise on Sandberg for her “intelligence and ferocious work ethic” but still questions why Sandberg is only challenging women to lean in, and not businesses themselves. – Speaking of leaning in, Jody Miller writers for the Wall Street Journal that, “More great women don’t ‘lean in’ because they don’t like the world they’re being asked to lean into.” Meaning,  those 60+ hour work-weeks are what really need to change. (WSJ)
