All the parenting news you probably didn’t have time to read this week.


– There’s a Million Moms March for Gun Control in NYC today, and a national march in Washington DC on Jan 26th. (NY Times)

– Parents in the US lie to their kids less than parents in China. (Science Daily)

– Part of the President’s gun control initiative involves training teachers and school employees to spot mental illness so that children suffering from mental illnesses can be treated as the diseases are developing. (NPR)

– Not sure how this qualifies as news, but a new study shows that moms suffer from lots of guilt related to parenting, specifically for not spending enough time with kids, and being too busy and too tired. Duh. (The Telegraph)
