15 Romantic Movies Starring Jewish Celebrities to Watch This Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is upon us. While I’m notoriously not really about V-Day (because it’s just a Hallmark holiday made up to make you buy stuff), I’m also totally about Netflixing some romantic comedies and dramas (and everything in-between) while eating chocolate and some take-out.

I began to think about all of the best romantic films that star some of my favorite Jewish celebrities (like Bette Midler, aka: My Supreme), and came up with this list. After the kids go to bed, pour some wine and enjoy:

1. Sarah Jessica Parker in the infamous “Sex and the City” movie from 2008.

2. Matthew Broderick in the 1997 rom-com “Addicted to Love.”

3. Andrew Garfield in 2010 dystopian romance “Never Let Me Go.”

4. Drew Barrymore in 1999 hit rom-com “Never Been Kissed.”

5. Adam Sandler in “The Wedding Singer” from 1998.

6. Goldie Hawn in the 1982 romantic film “Best Friends,” alongside Burt Reynolds, no less.

7. Barbra Streisand in “The Mirror Has Two Faces” from 1996 with Jeff Bridges.

8. Bette Midler in “That Old Feeling” in 1997.

9. Kate Hudson in the romantic drama “Almost Famous” from 2000.

10. Zooey Deschanel in “500 Days of Summer” alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt from 2009.

11. Joseph Gordon-Levitt in “Don Jon” in 2013, which was also his directorial debut–also starring Scarlett Johansson.

12. Paul Rudd in “Clueless,” the 1995 classic.

13. Maya Rudolph in the 2009 romantic film “Away We Go.”

14. Mila Kunis in the 2011 romantic comedy “Friends with Benefits.”

15. Natalie Portman in Wes Anderson’s 2007 short film “Hotel Chevalier.”
