Continuing with the running theme of brand new shiny things for you all to enjoy, we’ve got some great news about our new parent company. The Jewish Telegraphic Agency and MyJewishLearning, Inc. have merged to create 70 Faces Media, which is now the largest Jewish media company in North America.
All of MJL’s properties–including us at Kveller–will remain separate websites with our own unique brands and voices, which means the Kveller you know and love won’t be going anywhere. That being said, having a larger, more unified parent company will only mean great things for us. It means more resources for us to create content in new and interesting ways, and a larger reach to bring you dynamic voices in the Jewish parenting scene.
We are so incredibly excited to be part of this new company, and we are already brimming with fresh ideas for the new year.
But first, we had to take a selfie. On Jan. 5 we had a Kveller get-together and launch party to celebrate our merger and redesign. Mayim Bialik, Kveller’s editorial staff, contributing editors, a few of our writers, and one very cute baby came together to talk about the new website and brainstorm what’s next. Here is but a selection of the photos we took that evening. Enjoy, and kvell on!
Can we ask?
It's important to us to keep the warm, joyfully Jewish community on Kveller accessible for all. Reader donations help us do just that. Can you spare a few to keep Kveller free? (We'll love you forever.)
