That hair. That sass. Yes, we absolutely adore the boy in the new Barbie ad. He’s basically everything the world needs right now. In the 56 years that Barbie has been gracing the rooms of kids everywhere, there’s never been a boy in their advertisements before. Finally, it’s happened.
This week, Barbie released a commercial for its newest doll: Moschino Barbie. Which is exactly what it sounds like–a collaboration between Barbie and Italian fashion house Moschino.

The result? It’s entirely fierce.
He is shown playing with two other girls, screening Barbie’s calls, and sweetly assisting her with her purse. What a mensch. We love it.
And we hope this inspires parents and little boys everywhere to know that it’s OK for any child, regardless of gender, to play with dolls.
