Barbra Streisand Breaks Her Own Record with 11th No. 1 Album

Babs, AKA Barbra Streisand, cannot be stopped. Ever. The diva’s latest album “Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway,” was just released at the end of August. She outdid herself yet again–tough–as she’s achieved her 11th No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart.

On the album, Streisand performs duets with Jamie Foxx, Hugh Jackman, and collaborates with Alec Baldwin, Patrick Wilson, Anne Hathaway, and Chris Pine.

Streisand was already Queen Diva as the female artist with the most No. 1s—closely followed by Madonna with eight. But now, she is tied for third most chart-toppers overall, currently sharing that spot with Bruce Springsteen. So, who beat Streisand and Springsteen? Jay-Z, in second with 13 No. 1s, and the Beatles, with 19.

Because of this recent success, it made me think about all of my favorite Babs moments throughout the years. Here are some below:

1. “Yentl”

2. “Funny Girl”

3. “The Way We Were”

4. “A Star Is Born”

5. With Judy Garland

6. With Celine Dion

7. With Donna Summer

8. With Neil Diamond
