If you thought the cutest thing you’ve ever seen was that cat video your mom sent you, you thought wrong. Because we found it. It’s a video taken at a dance class for moms and dads in San Diego, California called GroovaRoo Dance, where a bunch of dads and babes are dancing to “Play That Funky Music.”
In the past, the class has gotten noticed for their videos with moms and babes dancing together, but this video of dads with their bundles of joy is too cute to ignore. Having parents dance with their kids is a great idea–you exercise and bond at the same time. It’s the brain child of birth doula and postpartum yoga instructor Amber Anjali and her husband Meenshi, a dance instructor.
Amber recently told TODAY why so many enjoy the class:
“There aren’t a lot of activities where moms can feel comfortable bringing their babies and getting a workout. They come for the exercise, but then through the process, they find a community.”
