Our 16 Favorite ‘Sesame Street’ TV and Pop Music Parodies

Sesame Street” has been on the air since July 1969. That’s a long time when it comes to all the children who grew up watching the show, learning about things like sharing and gentrification, and enjoyed watching the storylines of Oscar the Grouch and Miss Piggy.

Through the years, the show has parodied popular songs and TV shows—right up until this week, when their genius “Despacito” parody about a rubber ducky started getting major attention online.

This is why I rounded up some of my past favorites below:

1. Mad Men

2. Old Spice commercial

3. True Blood

4. Downton Abbey

5. Star Wars

6. Call Me Maybe

7. The Hunger Games

8. Game of Thrones

9. When Harry Met Sally

10. My Name Is…

11. Rolling in the Deep

12. Bohemian Rhaspody

13. Jungle Boogie

14. Ode to Joy

15. Get Lucky

16. Crocodile Rock with Elton John
