As every mother knows, it takes a lot of energy to parent. Which is why the consumer products company Philips decided to put kinetically powered batteries onto the shoes of 20 awesome moms — harnessing that energy to (get this!) power the neonatal ward at Sardá maternity hospital in Buenos Aires. The ad, “Mom’s Energy” shows mothers’ energy to be literally life-saving and also seriously magical. And you know, a real job with a lot at stake.

As one mom in the ad, created for Argentina’s Mother’s Day (celebrated in October!), puts it: “That energy comes from love. Love for my children, for my family and for what I do as well.”
