This Daddy-Daughter Duo’s Version of ‘80s Classic ‘Take On Me’ Is Awesome

It’s time to get a cool haircut, put on some black eyeliner, and practice your best pouty face, because we’re about to transport you back to the ’80s with this daddy-daughter duo. Matt Silverman, of Free Dad Videos on YouTube, is bringing back the new wave with his daughter, Amelia.

They cover a-ha’s hit song “Take On Me” spectacularly–between Silverman’s guitar skills and Amelia’s maraca and xylophone game, they were a perfect pair. Plus, Amelia supplied back up vocals–what more could you want? (Other than Robert Smith via 1985.)
