Happy Hanukkah, Liz!
To continue on with the season of giving, we’re very happy to announce the winner of our Worst Present Ever Hanukkah contest. Last week, we asked readers to share the most disappointing gift they ever received for Hanukkah, and our favorite response was not only disappointing, but deeply disturbing. Without further ado, we’re happy to congratulate the winner, Liz Nord, for her entry:
My boyfriend’s mother gave me an electric lady shaver! I’m not kidding. It was embarrassing on so many levels and we’ve never discussed it since.
There’s not too much to say besides… awkward. For being such a good sport and enduring such a seriously bad gift, we’re sending Liz an entire gift package from Modern Tribe. Happy Hanukkah, and may we never associate boyfriends’ moms and lady shavers again.
