Video Proves That Kids Actually Listen to Their Parents & It’s Pretty Adorable

Often times, parents feel like they’re not being heard by their kids. You know that feeling, where everything you say seems to go in one ear, and right out the other? Well, this Buzzfeed video proves that your kids actually do listen. At least, when they want to.

In the video, three 8-year-olds were asked: “What’s an important thing you’ve learned?” Their answers are not only surprisingly insightful, but pretty darn cute.

One girl shared an important lesson that many kids learn from experience: “You can’t tell mom a lie,” she said. “Mom always finds out.” One boy made the astute observation that “every summer vacation, you grow more!”
