Behati Prinsloo, the 27-year-old model and wife of Adam Levine, made a big statement yesterday. On her Instagram, she posted a topless selfie of herself with the caption “#chooseLOVE.” This gesture is meant to show that she stands in solidarity with the Orlando victims and their families.

It is important to show support and solidarity, especially when it comes to targeted hate crimes (and in this case, targeted at the LGBTQ community)–whether you’re a public figure or not. While it may seem obvious–or perhaps you are uncomfortable oversharing on social media–a simple message could help someone else feel more accepted, especially if that person is from a marginalized group.
That being said, it seems like Prinsloo is completely embracing her pregnancy–we can’t wait to see if the Levine’s baby has singing talent or his/her mom’s photogenic genes.
