Amber Tamblyn and David Cross just welcomed their first child, a daughter. The 33-year-old writer and actress confirmed the birth of her daughter on Instagram yesterday. She posted a short video of an adorable baby foot wiggling out of a pink blanket in a hospital. It’s surprising sometimes just how teensy newborns are.
While her actual name hasn’t been announced, Tamblyn made the best baby name joke ever. She claimed her daughter’s name is: “Dauphinoise Petunia Brittany Scheherazade Von Funkinstein Mustard Witch RBG Cross Tamblyn-Bey jr.” Hilarious and brilliant. I also suspect her comedian husband may have had a helping hand in this.
I’m hoping that this whimsical sense of humor and style, not to mention sharp wit, is passed down to the baby girl. I have a feeling she’ll be pretty sassy. Mazel tov to the happy family!
