Summer 2021 is right around the corner, and we’re not sure who needs summer camp more the kids attending camp, or their parents. The great news is that JCC’s and Y’s in the New York area are ready to give your kids the best summer ever! Children participate in a wide array of activities including daily swim (instructional and free), arts and crafts, theatre, music, woodworking, animal encounter, boating, baseball, basketball, soccer, archery, and more. Special event days, and weekly shows, and Shabbat celebrations round out the schedule.

All of the adventure and excitement of big-kid camp with a focus on the needs of young campers! This summer, River Friends Day Camp will offer a variety of engaging, developmentally appropriate activities and experiences. Sports and games, playground time, nature and gardening projects, yoga, water-play, and crafts are just a sampling of what’s in store for 2021. And, while many activities will be situated outdoors, under large, shady canopies, the JCC’s indoor, air-conditioned and well-ventilated spaces will provide ample and comfortable room for lunch, rest, and indoor activities in case of inclement weather.

The Sprout Westchester program includes instructional and free swim, adventure course, ceramics, petting zoo, sports, nature, archery, golf, yoga, Sababa time, Israeli Dance, stem and so much more. Each week we have special events that enhance the weekly theme.
