Leza Lowitz is a multi-genre writer of over 18 books. She has received many awards for her fiction, poetry and translation, including a PEN Syndicated Fiction Award, the PEN/Oakland Josephine Miles Poetry Award, grants from the NEA and NEH, and the APALA Award in Young Adult Literature. Her memoir, Here Comes the Sun, is about her quest for motherhood across two continents, two decades, and two thousand yoga poses.
She lives in Tokyo where she writes and runs a yoga studio with her husband, young son, and two wild dogs-it's a family business!
