Gwyneth Paltrow’s Wedding Rehearsal Was Hosted by Jerry Seinfeld

Mazel tov to uber-famous Jewish mom Gwyneth Paltrow! The actress turned wellness entrepreneur, 46, tied the knot with Jewish television producer and writer Brad Falchuk, 47, in the Hamptons over the weekend.

According to a “source” (take this with a grain of salt), ET Online reported, “After the ‘I dos,’ Gwyneth was elated and danced throughout the evening. The atmosphere was incredibly romantic. The flowers were beautifully arranged on the tables with crystal wine glasses and candles. It was a very Hamptons, outdoorsy feel. The weather was glorious so it truly was a perfect scene.”

Afterwards, Gwyneth posted an Instagram (captionless) of intertwined hands with wedding bands.

As you’d expect, it was a star-studded event: Robert Downey Jr., Rob Lowe, Cameron Diaz, and Steven Spielberg were among the guests.

Also very present: Jerry Seinfeld!

According to Peoplethe comedian actually hosted the rehearsal dinner for Paltrow and Falchuk. Seinfeld’s wife, Jessica, is good friends with Paltrow. She is described by Page Six as “lifestyle guru” and cookbook author. Earlier this year, she told US Magazine about her Goop-tastic pal, “I love her so much and I think she’s the most extraordinary person and friend. And then her fiancé is equally that.”

Here’s Gwyneth with the Seinfelds and Stella McCartney:

At the dinner, Seinfeld reportedly “entertained guests with a five-minute stand-up routine.” This is maybe the most fun fact to come out of the wedding, in our opinion. Just close your eyes and picture Jerry Seinfeld performing stand-up for Gwyneth Paltrow and all her Goop-y friends.

The dinner reportedly lasted from 6 p.m. until 10:30 p.m., and was apparently “filled with lengthy tributes to the couple and no shortage of glowing praise for the bride.”

Clearly, it wasn’t a dinner about nothing. Best wishes to the happy couple!
