Ashton Kutcher and Jewish actress Mila Kunis are pretty good at keeping secrets, because they managed to keep their summer wedding under wraps. Today, 38-year-old Kutcher appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” and talked marriage and parenthood.
The couple wanted to keep their wedding private, but it was a lot harder than they anticipated. Kutcher stated:
“It was a ninja effort. We really didn’t want helicopters at our wedding and it’s a legitimate concern. I was, like, posting things on social media that were in different locations to avoid it. We didn’t want to be screaming our vows at each other and being like, ‘Forever! Did you say never?’ We went really under the radar with it.”
They ended up getting married in July at The Secret Garden at Parrish Ranch in Oak Glen, California. Of course, now that the wedding fever is over, they are devoting themselves to their 17-month-old daughter Wyatt, which basically means they’re just trying to keep her alive. Kutcher gave sage parenting advice:
“The first year you spend trying to keep them alive. And then after that you actually hit a point where your job is to keep them from killing themselves.
She tried to kill herself on a regular basis. Like, she doesn’t realize that’s a cliff and could be dangerous. She’ll just jump off the thing. She doesn’t know yet.
You would think that they would come with instincts around fire and large falls, and they don’t.”
Mazel tov to the happy couple!
