– On the Forward’s Sisterhood blog, a plea to give Sheryl Sandberg a break, who is “hardly the worst thing to happen to intelligent women since the “Real Housewives” franchise.” (Forward)

– Horrible news out of Brooklyn this weekend: expectant Hasidic couple Nachman and Raizel Glauber were killed in a hit-and-run accident on their way to the hospital. Their baby was delivered, but passed away this morning. Baruch dayan haemet. (New York Daily News)

– In what may be the worst headline of the year, the New York Times let’s us know “The Holocaust Just Got More Shocking” after some 42,500 Nazi ghettos and camps throughout Europe were cataloged in continuous research done by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. (NYT)

– “Bonnie Franklin, the pert, redheaded actress whom millions came to identify with for her role as divorced mom Ann Romano on the long-running sitcom ‘One Day at a Time,’ has died.” Both her parents were Jewish. (WSJ)
